I have been doing some searching for a bit now to get a Electrical Drum set that has the look and feal AS CLOSLY to a real Set

This link is what I was wanting to get. Is there any other companies out there you sugest that I could look into.

As of now Money is not a issue to me I want something that will last and sound great, as the same time have the look and feal of a real set

I just built a set of v-drums based around the roland td-8 module I got a ton of information at www.vdrums.com or www.edrumming.com

I do have the hart pro snare and once i finished playing with the trigger settings it works great. I still liked my accoustics better as for as sound but playability is close. Best bet is to save money on the module and go with a roland td-6 and trigger a software sampler. I personally use battery by native instruments but I have heard that drumkit from hell is good too.

One thing that Hart does provide over the competition is a Lifetime Warrantee. I think that says something about their product. In addition, if you do a search on http://www.vdrums.com/ you will find a great deal of info on them.

I know I'll be ordering a set very soon!

I've been playing the Harts (the older Studio series with the plastic pads for the toms and kick, but the metal Pro snare) for about 5 years now, and I like them very much. I came to them from the Roland TD series rubber-pad sets, after playing acoustics for many years, and can say that they are worlds better than the TDs.

If you play with a heavy hand, you might do well to avoid the Roland kits: the pads tend to be much more fragile than the Harts. I have broken (and repaired, and broken, and repaired, and broken, both electrically and mechanically) a lot of the Roland rubber pads, but I've never hurt a Hart pad at all. The Hart mounting (on a 7/8" Pearl tom arm) is much more suitable for a heavy style (or for road use) than the Roland rod mounts, in my opinion...

Here's an old thread where we did some discussion on them: https://homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23971

You can also just do a search on keyword "hart" here, to get other opinions.

If you go to the V-drums site, a search there will get you my thread on Roland pad repair techniques from 4-5 years ago... I used to post there as "scratchpadstudios", but haven't visited the site in several years now...
