could someone please help me out on purchasing a harmony processor, like the Digitech vocalist performer. Are these units any good at what they do, if so which ones are the best buy.

The Studio Vocalist is the best studio unit.
I used to have one. When I got more tracks I sold it. It is great in a pinch. Say a jingle when you need alot of voices, but nothing is as good as the real thing. The Studio Vocalist Try it out.
