Have not been here in a long time, new forum format I see.

I am in the process of recording Harlem Nocturne.

I went for a raw Marshall, in your face type of sound earlier in the song and a smoother sound at the end.

Let me know how it sounds so far.
It's pretty much an in your face guitar thing.

Here's the .mp3 url

You can play the tune without downloading here on my music page.

Man, that's outrageous! I would never have thought of this tune in a guitar context. Excellent sir. You got mad skills.

Oh man, thanks you so much!
You are way too kind!

I was going to do this tune in the surf/strat style with a stand alone reverb unit, but I started messing around with my JS guitars and had a ball with it.

I still may do a surf style rendition as a contrasting piece.
Love the old surf style guitar stuff.

Ya know... I really enjoyed this. I'm always a bit scared to listen to guitarists' mix of songs, but this actually seems nicely balanced. Tone on the guitar is very pleasing. I like the effects on guitar, too. Good bass work, drums sound fake, but not bad.

As the song goes on, just as a progression is about to get boring, ya change things up. I like it. Great tone on that guitar. Thanks for sharing, man.

Great playing. Drums are a bit weak and the organ is a bit too dominant for my taste. But it's still very good!

Ha! Yes! I had forgotten all about that. That was a great tune, too. You've improved alot, dude. Keep it up
You did a great job on that colab tune!

If anyone wants to hear the colab Poetic and I did last year, you can play it on this page
The tune was called passion - It's the seventh tune down on the page

Hey long time no see! I see (or hear) you're playing is still fabulous!
Hey Ido, thanks, been about a year I guess.
Too many other hobbies and too little time
I wish I actually had more time to play, I don't play all that much.

Hi, great cover, I thin it's a great idea to record it in this fashion
Thanks igor and joey

I still may do a Surf style rendition
That's what I actually started out to do and got sidetracked. :D

OK I'll be the odd man out... I thought the guitars were a bit on the "screechy" side. Nothing horrible, but it scratched my eardrums just a bit. Very nice and expressive playing. Personal taste thing, but I thought the reverb was too heavy on this. I liked the sound of it, I just think it's a little too wet.

You might be able to nudge up the bass just a bit.

Hmm, I'm not hearing any of that on my soundsystems.
Plenty of bass for me.

Turn down the screech control. :D
