hardware vs software drumz

hello, just had a question What does everyone think is better as far as making good drum, bass sounds. Hardware such as MPC 2000 Xl & such or software synths, I have Acid 4.0 and a Yamaha keyboard and havent made up my mind as to whether to buy a drum machine or just stick to the PC. Can any1 please share their thoughts about this with a poor production newbie. btw its for hip hop beatz

If it is for Hip Hop beats, stick on to loops, much more flexible than hardware drums and recording quality depends on the loops you use. So that is a better choice.

thank u very much Jeyan, really do appreciate it. I had another question however, Im thinkin I want 2 make my own drum loopz, what do u think is better, software or hardware?? If so which one should I use? I mean which one would u use if u were trying 2 make some loopz n why?
