My yamaha mg10/2 is making me go crazy...

The LED's won't work... it works ok... but the LED's on the right side that tell you when you're clipping... the ones under the power light won't come on at all... and when I plug headphones into the head phone jack i can't hear anything :( is it possible to fix this?

heres how I got it set up...

I got bass plugged intro di box which goes into the line jack...

then I got the channel 1 output going to a compressor then into the computer...

this is a minor problem... but it annoys me :( and the yamaha site is no help...

To get anything out of the phones jack you need to have BOTH the master output (the red knob labelled 'ST') up, and the C-R/Phones control up too.

Don't understand how you've got stuff hooked up. The meters work the same as on any other mixer, across the main stereo bus (as there are no PFLs on this one). So just bang up your bass and the main output and you're away.

If what you mean is that you're tapping an Insert as a direct output, then your signal isn't going to the main bus, so you won't trigger the meters.

thank you very much for your help... i realized i was using the i/o as an output to the computer... I guess I need to go from output - computer...

No problem. I hope you get some good fun out of it ... the MG10/2s are really good and so diddy! I have one sat here on my desk right now. :)
