Hard rock track - Stand

Over all it is quite good from my amateur perspective! Something feels weird when the drums first come in, hard to put it my finger on it, but I guess it was a shock to my sense of timing and continuity. Good song and vocals.

Thanks for you input. The intro to the main part of the song didn't really come across like it sounded in my head. There is something strange about the timing.

You can really hear a bunch of hiss on the vocal track. The guitar intro was pristine. Then right before the vocal comes in - big time hiss.

Drum part was too busy in spots. Fills where there shouldn't be any, etc.

The backing vocal answer backs are kind of weak. I'd probably double or triple them.

There is some weird treatment on the lead vocal once things kick in. Some weird chorus thingy going on.

I thought the bass sound was good. It's sitting at a good level too.

Yeah, that bridge from intro to main is weird - you should re do it and make the length & timing match better.
The drums sound a little synthetic - probably the kick more than anything.
The drums are too busy.
the lead guitar playing over everything has, to my ears, an old turbo drive type of effect and that does age the piece.
Keep tweaking the otehr folk had some good observations.

Thanks for the listen, TripleM. I'm trying a re-work to address some things you brought to light. I'm fighting noise and trying to add some dynamics. As usual, once I get the vox recorded I rush to the finish line.

Thanks, rayc. After taking a break from the track for a few days, I hear a lot I need to correct. It's always nice to get some feedback to see if you're on the right track.
