Whenever I pan a mono track 100% to the right or left I can hear it slightly in the opposite side. I can hear the bleed when I monitor the track too. I'm using an audiobox usb with studio one 2 and I'm monitoring with headphones. To experiment I unplugged the audiobox and imported a mono wav track and panned it hard but I got the same result. I also tried exporting a song and listening to it in windows media player but again...same result.
Another test I did involved panning a track hard right, adjusting the computers speaker levels so that you would only hear what's on the left side and what I found was that when I did that I didn't hear anything on that speaker but when both computer speakers leveled out I could hear bleed again on the opposite side when I would listen in that earphone.
If anyone could fill me in on what is going on and how a can combat this that would be much appreciated.
