Hamptone HVTP2 tube mic pre

Just thought I would drop a note about this mic pre. It's great! I just used it to record guitar and bass, and it provided that great tube distortion. For that sound, it's terrific. I have 2 Focusrite isa 215's and 2 API 312's, and I wouldn't hesitate to grab for the Hamptone. I didn't build it(It's a kit), so don't ask me about that.I have not seen many posts about this pre, so I thought I would add my 2 cents.

I picked up the jfet kit. Great pre! I like it so much I'm seriously thinking about getting the tube version. Good to hear that it competes with the big pres.
