Hammond organ sound?

My system is working this week!!!!

So...I thought I might try and do something!

I have various VST's but can anybody suggest a good one for the Hammond organ sound of the 1960's?

I have not used it but search for organized trio. It is free and is supposed to sound pretty good. Or if you want to spend $200 you could get native instruments b4.

You posted the same time I did. I was trying to Google it while I was typing so it took me too long.
 
I tend to use very clean organ sounds as a starting point, but then I use a VST plugin called the Akai Professional Rotator, it allows for a 2-switch (adjustable) speed variation leslie effect (fully automatable & it slides between the 2 speeds beautifully) - also you have an option to add distortion to the signal - it sounds phenomenal! Works great on clean guitars too for a really interesting effect (I've used it on vocals too)
 
A couple of months ago I search the net and tried all demos of Hammond organs, even bought some samples from Sonic Implants. But I ended up with Charlie Retro Organ:

It is sample based. So this sounds like the real thing. The B4 doesn't, it's buzzy and unpleasant. Of course, the B4 is more flexible with drawbars and all, but you do get 3 GB of quality samples with Charlie. Even samples you can combine for more drawbar settings.

As to B4, go to NI's site and listen for yourself:

Go down to B3 vs B4 part 3 (don't mind the German speach) then you'll hear an original B3. Then comes the ugly sounding B4. I can promise Charlie sounds like the B3 part this test.

... I am not affiliated with USB. I just think Charlie Retro Organ deserves a lot more attention.
