Half rack pre-amp/compressor combo?

I was wondering if someone could recommend a half rack sized
pre-amp and compressor combo for my portable setup. I would
settle with a Joemeek, but it does not seem to be sold anymore.

You can find a JoeMeek VC3, VC3Q or MQ1 on ebay, Sweetwater's Trading Post or a number of other places on the www. Joemeek.com also has a couple of demo MQ1s for sale.

I myself have a VC3 that I use for a lot of things. My Beyer M260 sounds better thru it than any other pre I have. Bass is nice too.
