Probably...but just asking...

I DO still have a killer SCSI Plextor 4/12 CDr that keeps crankin' them out though... Had to retire the SCSI setup though.

i decided i couldnt wait and i went to www.intrex.com this place is actually in town so it was faster to get it there and then get back home.....had i bought the exact same stuff on newegg.com i would have saved over a hundred bucks...but i would've gotten it in 2-3 days. during christmas season that can be 3-5 days. patience is not my forte. so i bought the 64 3000+, 512 memory, 80 gb sata hd, and a 420 watt psu. came up to 500+. i already had a case...i planned on using the fans from the 2 other cases i had to install them all into one case. i had 2 20gb harddrives but i wanted an sata with 7200rpms and the other hard drives were IDE and 5400rpms. i have 2 cdroms and a 3.5 floppy. i have the ap24/96 soundcard already and i have a monitor, mouse and keyboard that I've used since the first comp i built. the only thing i absolutely needed was the cpu, motherboard and memory. had i just gotten those 3 it would've been about 360

i have windows xp office, my laptop died on me arg!

so whats the best route that has everything involved including
cd drive
sound card
and all the other stuff i need?
