I am think going with a Beltringer MX602A EuroRack Mixer,
Nady Systems Cl5000 Compressor Limiter/ Gate, Alesis Digital Nanoverb 18-bit effects processor and a use CD Burner and some Cables. but i got a question you think i will come out buying the Tascam Porta02 MKII PortaStudio to Record my demo.

CJ, the guy to ask in this group is Monty.
He has lots of patience and would solve
your problem right away, and he is a great speller,
too. (Hey Monty, I posted something about Bush
in the Dragon Cave, please respond).

The stuff you mentioned sounds ok, most folks
would go with a Mackie mixer. They have some
cheap ones, so check them out.

I have alesis stuff around here, the nanoverb
is great for the price, go get one.

The Tascam Portastudio uses technology that is
20 years old. It might be fun for laying down a few tracks,
but a little fostex digital recorder would work
better for a close price range. Computer software
will kick the tascam s butt, if you have a good
computer.

I would not buy the tascam, maybe a fostex or
some other unit. Cheers David

Why would you even consider purchasing the Tascam piece when you have a computer???

CJ you keep posting some puzzling questions. :)

You should definitely ask Monty for some advice.

I'm sure he could word it in a manner that you would easily understand. :D
