Guitar tube amp or monitors for jamming on the go?

So I want to be able to take my laptop, guitar, keyboard, and drum pads across town to jam with friends *not for recording purposes, just to have fun*. Mostly I play bluesy/funky stuff, using keys and pads for bass lines, organ sounds, and beats. I have m audio av40 monitors that I use at home with my desktop, and I have a little voxac4tv tube amp I take on the go with my guitar. Would my guitar amp suffice for pick up and go jam sessions like this (running guitar/keyboard/pads), or would I be better off packing up my monitors instead/in addition to? Again it wouldn't be for recording purposes, but rather to bring more to the table for fun jamming. Thoughts? :guitar:

Why not try it it out and let us know which is better.... :)

One group that I jam with have just standalone instruments (guitar/bass/amps/drumset). Another group I jam with has those in addition to midi keyboards/synthesizer/midi controllers. The one with all the electronic equipment said he runs most of his stuff from an old 60's Fender bass amp. I'm a fan of consolidation and ease of packing/unpacking. I like my little m audio av40 monitors a lot, but they don't pack as much sound as the little 4w tube amp going through a 10in. speaker; that and they seem more fragile than that sturdy little amp so I don't enjoy moving them around as much. Will my amp be able to replicate the sound well with everything aside from guitar; will I possibly hurt my amp? What do you guys do in these situations (for guitar/keyboard/pads) where you want to just pack up and go with as little gear as you can manage. Anyone who has any experience with similar situations, your input is much appreciated. Thank you!

I think you already answered your own question. Use the amp. The AV40's will have a hard time competing with all the other instruments.
