Hi guys
Yesterday I`ve playd around with the virtual version of the korg ms20 and tried to run a guitar through it to trigger the oscilators. to my amazment it also tracked the pitch of the guitar rather nicely! it sounded awsome. so i actualy played the synth with a guitar. my question is, first of all, do any of you know of a good audio to midi software that works in realtime? prefebly one that works in cubase (vst). anyway, that experience really turned me on to doing the same thing with a hardware synth. now, the only one i have that has external inputs is the dsi evolver, but the inputs arn`t cv inputs. what i was thinking about is some kind of cv/pitch to midi convertor. does electric guitar output cv? so i can use a cv to midi coverter? i don`t want to invest in a guitar synth thingy. what would you reccomend as a cheap option? if a software synth can do it it can`t be that difficult right?
