Hey everyone,
My guitar sounds bright and crisp when plugged into my friend's Saffire 6 USB interface, but dull, muffled and muddy when plugged into my Saffire Pro 24. On my old M-Audio Firewire 410, it sounds somewhere in between.
I made a short, 14-second recording to show you the difference: View attachment recording.mp3
- The first 3 chords were recorded with the Saffire 6 USB
- The second 3 chords were recorded with the Saffire Pro 24
- The third 3 chords were recorded with Firewire 410
So there something wrong with my Saffire Pro 24? Should I try to return/exchange it, or is there some other way I can fix the muddiness?
I'd really appreciate any helpful input. Thanks
