How do people work on these things??
The jack on my Epi Dot went bad and when I took the nut off, the jack fell into the guitar. I can't get at it, I can't get it over to the s-hole to get at it and even if I remove all the pick-ups I'm not sure I can get at it.
I'm sure I'll figure it out (this all happened yersterday and after spending about 30 minutes trying to get the jack out I stopped for a while - lest I get so frustrated that I throw the damn axe out the window).
But as I was trying to work on this jack I kept wondering how the hell people work on these things. Candidly, it's only a $400 axe - and I don't want to spend $200 to get it fixed - so I'll figure it out, but being a drummer, this is much more of a pay in the ass than simply replacing a drum head!!!
