Guitar port to Cooledit Pro 2.0

Hi all,

I'm quite the novice to home recording and have Line6 GuitarPort and Cooledit Pro 2.0. What I'm unsure of is how to properly connect the GuitarPort to the PC for recording. I would like to go direct to the PC from GuitarPort if possible. I will eventually get a mic, but for now I would like to know if going direct is possible and if so, how. I've read online of mistakes people make in going direct that has been costly to them and would like to avoid that. Thanks in advance for any help,

Figured it out

Well, after endless experimentation, I figured it out. Disregard previous post. Oh yeah, it was disregarded. Something to be said for self-reliance right?
