I'm looking into HomeRecordings, which is obviously why I'm here, but that's aside the point.
I've been considering buying a Shure SM57 mic, which I'm quite confident in the sound it is going to give out,
HOWEVER,
I'm beginning to question what i'm inserting the input into.
Like.. I know it can be inserted directly into the computer, but varies in quality depending on how high performance your soundcard may be.
So basically, my question is:
Is their a cheap input that i can plug my Shure SM57 into that i know will not change the sound quality enough to be noticeable ?
