Hey guys, I've started to notice recently that my amp has been humming a lot. Maybe it was the fact I haven't played it fully set up in months or what, but it seems quite accessive. Anyways, my setup is a Gibson SG> Boss DD-5>JCM900 100watt> Korg dtr1000> some old digitech effects processor> BBE Sonic Maximizer> Ampeg 412 cab

I believe it's probably the effects processor, but even when I take out the rack it still seems to hum a bit. Not nearly as much, though. Would a feedback reducer or anything like that get rid of this for me? Thanks!

you'll have to take it apart and figure out which if it's single piece or whether it's a cumulative effect... if it's cumulative you might have some luck with experimenting with the grounding... if it's a single piece it's most likely the marshall and you may need to have the power supply filters looked at...

Uh... is that chain accurate? You're running your amplifier's speaker output into outboard gear? If so, there's your problem. Something probably blew up.
