guitar has no strings

If you can, go buy some. If you don't have any money, you will just have to pretend. Put on some of your favorite music, and start moving them fingers..... :D

yeah, and you might as well "sing" while you're at it. you don't need guitar strings or a real voice at an ashlee simpson concert from what i hear.
 
Just be sure you have the right batteries in it, and the press the different colored squares up and down the neck. :)

I had one of those once, I traded it for an amp with no speaker, they both made my parents very happy.

O' you guys are to funny...lol...maybe if he would inclued a lil more info about that guitar someone could suggest what type and size of string for this poor bloke.
 
If you're pressed for cash, you could try baling twine.
 
Get some double sided sticky tape, and 6 Lego winches. Tape the winder ends to your headstock, and hook the hook ends to the bridge. You can even tune them if you like...
