Guitar Effects with CEP

hi i'm new @ recording guitar with my pc and since i dont have any hardware effects i have to do it with cool edit pro. the only effects i get done nicely are wahwah and echo, but the reverb always comes out muddy and blurry. can someone maybe post their reverb settings (maybe in a screenshot) and tell me some other good effects for guitar recordings ? i use a semi-acoustic guitar with steel strings and i'm trying to get a funky/jazzy sound.
