I have pro tools and and Firewire solo connecting my guitar to the computer. I recorded my guitar before and everything was working fine. Due to a software problem I needed to reinstall Pro Tools 7.4. Now I am trying to record my guitar again and the "R" button on the track view is not there anymore.
I am doing this:
1 - Track>New
2 - On the New track window: Mono>Aux Input>Ticks
3 - On the Mix window:where it says "no input" I am changing that to "In 2". I can hear and see the guitar signal coming in Pro Tools
If I do this:
1 - Track>New
2 - On the New track window: Mono>Audio Track>Ticks
3 - On the Mix window:where it says "no input" I am changing that to "In 2". I CAN'T hear NOR see the guitar signal coming in Pro Tools
What am I doing wrong?
