Guitar and vocals

Hey I was wondering what kind of guitar and vocal setups people have going on. List your equipment and the way you're using it.
I've just been plugging an electric into my pod and from there to the omni studio and for vocals I have an akg2000b running into the omni preamp. Sounds like shit. Are there any good ways to mix the two, just to jam? What could I unclude that may make a difference for the better? Thanks again. This site rules!
 
Here's mine:

Vocals: SP C1 - M-audio dmp3 - Behringer compressor - Tascam 788

Guitar: MXL 603s at 12th fret - dmp3 - behringer compressor
AKG c1000s in alternate position - dmp3/behringer or joe meek vc6 q to the 788

vocals - Marshall MXLv67G > Joe Meek VC3Q>Delta Audiophile

electric guitar - Yamaha Pacifica 211 > Johnson J-Station....if im feeling froggy, i take a line out of the J-Station into a Kustom K-100 amp and mic one of the speakers with a SM57 going into either the Joe Meek or a Delta DMP2......

acoustic guitar - Takamine EG240/G240 combination of Marshall MXLv67 and Behringer ECM8000 going into the Joe Meek and a direct signal into the Joe Meek......

bass guitar - Fender Squier bass going into either the J-Station or Joe Meek.....
