HEY.

I have a peavy supream transtube 4/12 and I was thinkin
on getting the bottom cabinet to go with the one I already
have, will an extra cabinet make a difference to the sound
of the amp, I mean I know it can't make it any louder but
whats the purpose of two cabinets do they make the amp
sound fuller or somthing????

thanx

i dunno about that mate,,,but it makes it more of a bloody pain in the arse to lug around!
Im DYING to get some kind of a combo that can handle the big guitar sounds so i can quit usin the Marshall half stack.

I heard that! I had an Ampeg half stack, and had to haul the thing up four flights of steps for a gig. Traded it in on a combo the following week.

OH NOOOO! NOT AN ,,,,,,,,,AMPEG!
THE single heaviest motherfucker of an amp EVER created?
Jeez! I remember going into a store as a boy to try a new pedal with my pal,,,and all we did was sit in awe of this fantastic stereo
chorus combo by Ampeg! THEN,,as we were leaving we heard the store owner shout to an assistant to get the Am[eg bass head for a customer! We almost SHIT ourselves laughing when the poor wee guy had to get not one,,but TWO other guys to help him lift the thing from the top of the 2 by 15 cab it was on.
I wasnt laughing when i tried to lift it,,,,,,,,,,JEEEEZUUZ H CHRIST!
I was told the the cabs are lined with some kind of concrete?

But i think someone was pulling my plonker about that one,,,,,
but it FECKIN FEELS like it has been!

Stick with the combo by itself Branded my man! Unless you are REALLY picky about that sound,,and have HUGE muscles or plenty of willing assistants i say!

I have an ampeg half stack now an intend to replace it with a super reverb very shortly.

Hey, it had casters man.... ;)

I sold that thing and bought me a 1x12 50 watt combo - a Washburn sx50 - and used that for the next 10 years, until I got my Peavey Duel 212.
