this is true. the problem is the question isn't specific enough. Its like asking if you should use a les Paul and a Marshall to get a good guitar tone. Yes seems to be the obvious answer until you dig deeper to find out that the guy plays bluegrass...

Yes...that happens a lot on forums.
People ask vague/generic quesitons..or ones that are too broad to apply to everything....and people will then start to answer them from their own specific perspectives, only to end up in a lengthy debate....
...'cuz one guy only plays Hard Rock with his LP and Marshall, and the other guy is a Jazz player with a semi-hollow body and a clean amp. ;)

The level of subjective, personal opinions usually outweighs logic, reality and common sense by about 10-to-1 in forum discussions.

It seems everybody is doing the Spectral Editor thing now Days.---->Sony,Adobe, Izotope. Even Exact Audio Copy (EAC) has one.I think they all do a Great Job of letting People have a closer look.2013 will be a big Year for Spectral Editing in Audio.
