Just thought I would make a couple of comments. I know as well as anyone with a brain that Computer and Hardisk recording is no match for Studio Equipment recording. But I am not rich and so I am stuck with doing my own cheap home recording. I have GTPro Guitar Tracks Pro, and I tried it for the first time. I must say I was quite impressed. After figuring out how to reduce the Hiss caused from the interaction between my Guitars and cheap equipment, I came up with some not bad sounding tracks. When I turn my Guitars in just the right position away from the equipment, Computer, sound card monitor etc etc.. I reduce the Hiss by 50% at least. I also use an external sound card, roland SCD70. But the sound is still digital and you can tell it is digital. I did notice that I do have to use the Revalver Amp simulator when editing, because the sound does not have enough gain (for me, I like it loud with plenty of bass) after reducing the hiss from interference. But after this I still get a pretty good sound for cheap "Home Recording." Will using outside Signal Processors help. If anyone has any comments that might help go for it.
