GT Electronics- Web presence?

Does anyone know if GT Electronics (of Alesis) still exists? They don't have a web-site and Alesis makes absolutely no reference to them on their web-site. I know that Alesis went through a chapter 11 reorg last year, but don't know what happened after that...

A shop I go to has them www.synthony.com Not sure about new models.

Are they any good? Any reccomendations for acoustic guitar and vocals?
