Strange... I still haven't received a single email from the groupbuy. No announcements throughout the entire process. Now you say that they've been packing stuff somewhat alphabetically (my last name starts with a "D") and I've yet to see anything change on my console since I payed for the items months ago. I'm wondering if I've been invoiced for shipping this whole time, and it just hasn't shown up on the console. I'm not getting any of the group emails, so I guess it's not that far-fetched that the console isn't working for me either.

There has only been a couple of mass E-mails since this has begun. If you log in to your users console, you will see if your invoice is available

So again, yes I can empathise with how you're feeling and certainly how the shipping and payment situation "appears" from our side of the world. We do need to give others the benefit of the doubt tho'.....I'm sure in a couple of weeks this'll be sorted out, we'll all be smiling again and hassling Chance and Terry for news on the next GB. :)

Not vital to my business, I'm just unsure what's exactly happening. Not sure if it's shipped, and customs/usps have no record. I'm waiting patiently.

I wouldn't worry about it. My last name starts with a "G" and I also haven't received an invoice, so they're obviously not doing it alphabetically by last name.
 
just occured to me... maybe it's alphabetical by email address (i dont know, just a thought) my email begins with "r" and i was invoiced last wednesday (11/19/08)

My email starts with an "m" and my first name starts with "s" and I was invoiced on the 14th of November. My last name starts with a "b" so that sort leads me to believe there is no particular method to what gets shipped when.

For those wondering... it has nothing to do with the alphabet. Somewhere back in this thread Chance mentioned he was over halfway.

My name starts with a "C" and my email address with an "E". Your guess is as good as mine as what method if any is used to determine order. Random out of a hat maybe? lol.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but us "G's" have been moved to the back of the line. On a brighter note though, there's pool going on over at the Red No's Club for who will be last. I'm a shoe-in but you may want to get in anyway.

First name starts with an A, last name with a B, email with an A.

And I only chose to order 1 mic.

Maybe they're packing the biggest orders first??? :p

Hmmm, I had my dyslexic friend check my control panel for me, and he said everything was on.
 
Well, I finally got to play around with my 84's last night as well as my ACM-1200. I think the 84's are gonna be really happening.

I did find the weird pop on the gain that someone else had mentioned. If you click through the steps slowly, or even put the knob between clicks, you can't get a wicked tone of some sort out of the thing. It is a pop if you go through the click but if you get the knob to sit in between detents, well, watch your speakers. It only happens when in mic mode but not line. Doesn't matter if a mic is on the input or not. The EQ seems really quite useful to me as well. I only had my voice to play with last night so a better test on some intruments is in order, hopefully after the holiday.

My 1200 has seemed to develop a dodgy tube as well. I can hit that thing with a moderate to loud burst of signal and it will just cut out and then slowly ramp back up in volume. I am gonna try a new tube this afternoon and see if that clears it up.

I know this seems like a negative review but it is not. I am quite happy with the stuff. The pres are better than what I paid for them by a long shot and the 1200 sounded fairly decent too, especially knowing the cost. Hopefully the tube is the issue on that and will be remedied with something a little better in there.
