Group Buy Interest?

Apologies if this has already been covered but as this thread grows, it's getting harder to locate specific information at times.

Is there a time frame in place for this group buy? Also, I notice on Chance's site, there is no longer any pricing for mics.....will this information be available soon?

Pricing was made avilable via email over the weekend and will not be released in/on this thread from what I understand. If you're on the distribution list, please check your inbox.

Chance sent an email yesterday with pricing information for this Great Buy to everyone participating. He is not posting prices on his site, just through emails.
 
Well that blows ducks, doesn't it :D. I'm not on the list because I didn't see fit to give Chance any more work until I knew some specific details................kinda a Catch-22 situation I guess.

Are the replacement ribbons only coming with the ACM-3s (and not the ACM-2s)?

When I log in this time I am taken to a page that just gives me the optrion to edit user details and change password.

There is also one item listed from the original selections I did a few days ago.

There is nothing there for me to select any any additional items.

I am getting the same thing only one preamp shows up and I don't have the option to add more products. I get the same thing in IE or Firefox.

and maybe the 583 as these are the mics I have regestired for and plan to purchase.

i'm wondering this also. it mentions this info for a couple of them on the mic page, and there's also a couple that have a shock mount in the picture...

i wonder if (from chance or someone else that knows) we could get more info posted here or in another mass email.

1. which mics have a shock mount available, and what it costs

2. do any have one included in the price listed?

3. will the "user console" be updated to include shock mount options?

I've got a question about the acm-1200. The description doesn't say that it comes with all the supporting stuff... I trust it does come with a power supply? How about a shock mount?

as far as all included items, I will be updating the website in a few hours from now. (still busy tracking)

Chance-

I know that it is taboo to mention contemporary names, but in the next email, would you describe what the new mics were modeled after and perhaps a rather brief aural description? I don't mean what their contemporaries are in the marketplace either.

Again, thank you so much for your efforts.
 
it seems like the most useful thing would be to know what the designs are derived from, rather than a subjective description of how they sound....

but any further info would be great....:D
 
i just got my buddy signed up for a 73 and 3 mics. That's my attempt at helping to lower our cost. I'll try and recruit more buyers as the days go on.

I tried to get in on one of these group buys a while back and in the end it fell through. I'd love to get in on this one. I already signed up and put in my order quantities on the site. Any idea what kind of time-frame we're looking at here? Thanks to everyone who's working on this (Chance in particular).
