The people who sell these under their brand name have complained to the manufacturer. When you stop to think about it, it is about 1/4 the price. I guess I would complain too with good reason. for the next group buy I would need some help. I would never again attempt to do this alone. If someone would want to undertake some of the work, PM or E-mail me
No one has gotten them yet - they're on a slow boat from China.qb2k5 said:BTW: To people who bought and recived their hm 10 mic. Can you post some detail feedback on it. Like how does it compare to brand name mics you might have?
So why would the manufacturer care - it's not like it's going to cost him any business. The people who sell these under their brand name have complained to the manufacturer. When you stop to think about it, it is about 1/4 the price.
Actually, it could cost him quite a bit of business. As a group, we're buying just a handful of microphones - fewer than 100. The US companies that rebrand and resell these mics may buy thousands of them over time. Our purchase is a one time event (at least the manufacturer has no expectations of more business from this ad hoc group). So while they may be willing to do business with us (via Chance), they are NOT willing to piss off their bigger US dealers.crazydoc said:So why would the manufacturer care - it's not like it's going to cost him any business.
Where else is the US dealer going to get the mics, unless there are multiple ribbon mic manufacturers in China. (There may be - I don't know.) It would seem that it is the middleman who is po'd, not the manufacturer. But I'm a business ignoramus.Gilliland said:Actually, it could cost him quite a bit of business.
