My middle-aged eyes have a hard enough time. The worst is gold writing on black background.

I really had never given it a thought until today... but I really didn't think white would look good...but from mockups that I've seen, it looks pretty darn good... I even like the white with red lettering better than the black lettering... The only thing I'd not like, but would never want to cause a slow-down over it, is brushed aluminum with black lettering...looks "Berry"...

For all those who do not like white, take a visit to A-Designs and take a gander at the Pacifica. It it very cool!! So is mine.:D
 
Question to everyone who ordered a pre:
Is there anyone who would strongly object to Chance picking the color and leaving it at that?

I suggest that unless we hear objections from a significant number of people (keeping in mind that there are 300+ pres ordered), we assume the rest of us are fine with Chance picking the color.
 
For god's sake, who cares about color??!

Lets order these f*ckers already.
 
aluminum doesnt take paint well. i would take anodize in any color available. anodize is a process and is hard as rock. paint will chip and flake then you wont be able to see anything after a while.
 
On the last mass-mail, I recieved about 10 "failed delivery" notices. Perhaps spam blocker? I didn't get these with my E-mail mass-mail.

About the colour,, it will be a surprise. It's too much to try to please everyone.

I plan to start sending payment requests next week. Once payment is recieved from everyone, registration will be closed as I will request the invoice and we will be on our way.
 
That´s good if you´ll allow me to send the money around 11th. of April.

Just keep in mind there are a few of us who are middle-aged (ugh!) and our eyes aren't quite what they used to be.

And I'll add my voice to the anti-brushed alluminum crowd. Brushed alluminum is horrible!!! HORRIBLE!!! I'd take pink before I'd take brushed alluminum.

I am working on that. That would include the ACM-3 shock mounts and replacment ribbons.

Great, sorry to be such a pest.

Was a shock mount supposed to be included with ACM-3 mics in the last buy, or was it an option?
 
They were an option on the last buy. Something happened to the effect where they weren't made/late. From what I understand (and hope) those who ordered acm3 shockmounts in the last group buy will be receiving them this time around. Someone correct if I'm wrong.
