I have searched through the forums and found some info on ground problems in guitars but I figured i'd creat my own thread specific to my own.
I have an epiphone les paul custom, which i'm delighted with, except for the annoying hum that so many ppl seem to have. When i touch anything metal on the guitar the hum gradually disappears. I havent opened it up to check for any loose or unsoldered wires yet, and I am fairly decent with a soldering iron... I just figured I'd ask you guys here before I went "in"

Anyway i'd appreciate it if anyone can help, my equipment is as follows... epi les paul custom, fender (mexican) fat strat (with even worse hum lol), boss gt-8 and marshall 2020 (old old amp).
