Groove Agent - Is this normal?

Hello all,

I tried to use two seperate drum beats in the one project with Cubase SE.

So - I recorded a couple of bars of the first drum beat. Then on a new track recorded the second drum beat.

However, the play back only plays the second drum beat.

Is it not possible to to use seperate drum beats with Groove agent in the one project or am doing something wrong?

Make sure that both midi tracks have GA as their outputs and are on the same midi channel. Im 100% not sure if you can send 2 midi signals to GA but you can to every other midi port
 
If altitude's suggestion doesn't work for you, don't forget that you can save different drum kits/beats in GA and set them to switch via the save settings and you should be able to work them both on the same track rather than two seperate tracks, even if it is two different kits and beat patterns.
