So we just did our review of this beautiful guitar with some sound samples here:

I must say, I didn't know Rancid's Tim Armstrong uses it for punk rock, and it seems to me that the guitar's price tag goes against conventional punk rock ethos, but maybe once you've made it you can afford to be a rich punk rocker with a hollow body guitar (yet another oddity here...).
