It was a great learning curve mixing your tracks.
The consistency of level & performance meant the process was about finding the best combination as opposed to working around problems.
I normally do the latter because I don't have the chops on a perfromance level.

Ok here's my go at it. Gone for quite a modern sound and rocked it up a bit. Lovely clean tracks to work with. Really nice recording

Here my version of the mix
Great performance by the band. good energies. arrangement is simple enough, so i tried to spice it up a little bit on my own.
Let me know whether you like it or not. iv'e put it through some limiting so its in competitive "master" level. i can still go back to it and make a some changes, so feel free to poke me with that.
I'll be happy for some criticism as well

Yeah, I need to call it now, let's see, um......okay the tracks will stay up until 10:00 pm Sunday Oct 6, 2013. At that time my tracks will be removed from the host site, and you won't have access to them anymore.
And then....you will have until high noon, 12:00 pm Friday Oct 11, 2013 to get your mix in to me. No mixes will be considered after that.
So, to sum up....
Sunday October 6, 2013 10:00 pm - tracks gone forever.
Friday October 11, 2013 12:00 pm - mix deadline.
All times are USA Central Standard Time. Set your watches accordingly. 3, 2, 1, check. Go.
I will do the judging that weekend and post the winner the following week.
And then....you will have until high noon, 12:00 pm Friday Oct 11, 2013 to get your mix in to me. No mixes will be considered after that.

Man, you've got way more patience than I do. I've put 2 tunes up for mixing in the last 2 years or so, and both times I just couldn't get myself to listen to any more mixes after about 5 or 6. It had nothing to do with how good or bad they were, I just couldn't keep on listening to my tune over and over, especially since I thought the best mix was mine anyway.
I was tempted to put up my last tune for mixing, but then I shuddered at the thought of having to listen to mixes over and over again.
