I just found this site last night. I live in the Pan Handle of Idaho (Osburn), 40 miles East of Couer d'Alene, in the mountains. I have the following R2R.
Akai M-9
Revox A77, 77A, 77 w/built in speakers
Crown tube player, Crown CX-724
Otari MX-5050 1/2 QXD

If there are members with Crown equipment, I would like to hear from them. Contact John W. Haines, j2202e618@maplenet.net. He is the best Crown person in the USA.

Concerning the Otari. I am in need of a Service/Operations Manual. I have the OIM-1004E Manual. Also, i am looking for the following HUB Adapters Otari PN TW671. Getting the Otari fully checked out is my next step. I do have the remote.

I was able to contact Michael at analogrules.com and he had an Otari MX-5050 1/2 QxD Service /Operation Manual, plus a pair of Reel HUB hold-downs for 1/2 QxD. Thanks Again. Bob Dunlap
