I don't think these water based acoustical caulkings are any good for construction. I haven't used green glue but something I think to be similiar. This product shrank by at least 25% and took way to long to dry. This stuff didn't stick well to sheetrock or soundboard. If the gap was over 1/4 inch it could take more than two days to dry. This was impractical for building and abandoned for silicone, vulkem or spray foam. Can anyone tell me if green glue is better than the acoustical caulk I used in the past.
