I'm an old guy, so my thinking centers in the 1970's and 1980's. My fantasy was to get Freddie Mercury from Queen, Steve Perry from Journey and Steve Walsh from Kansas in the studio together. The high harmony possibilities make my mouth water.

You forgot Brad Delp. . . But my number one would be Steve Walsh. . . Amazing talent. . . Big lungs, big fat neck, incredible projection. . .

I would say that the best singer that ever lived was FREDDIE MERCURY!

Nowadays, I would say the unbelievable MAYNARD JAMES KEENAN!!!

There's only one singer that adequately covered 4/4, 3/4, 6/8, 11/8, 7/12, 9/8, 2/4 and 5/4 time so I guess they're the greatest rock singer of all time.
Because they covered all time. Sometimes in the same song.
