I just thought I should share this with you.
Here is a video of the sweetwater gearfest 2011 event.
The puremix team gives a tutorial on how to track an acoustic band in 1 hour.
Mics positioning on drums, vocal, guitar, upright and violin, preamp choices and comparison.
