As some will know I am a big fan of Rode microphones, I have in my collection some very early (almost prototype) NT1's and the first NT2. Plus 2 x NT1000's and my offsider has a K2.
One of the reasons I support Rode is the after sales support, one of my old NT1's developed a fault many years after purchase and I sent it to them for repair, it come back repaired and tested NO Charge.
Well, they have done it again, one of my NT1000's which I bought second hand developed a fault, I contacted support and they suggested it may be a faulty capsule, I sent it to them and it was repaired (new capsule fitted) no charge! They honoured the 10 year capsule warranty even though I bought it second hand years ago. It only cost me postage to them they paid the return courier charge.
Credit where credit is due, a lot of other companies could learn about customer service.
Alan.
