Great River ME-NV1 Pre vs Langevin DVC pres...which has less noise?

I'm going to buy one of these two units. I'll be tracking lots of vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar......everything except drums, bass and piano with the whichever unit I choose. I've read that the Great River ME-NV1 was specifically designed to produce a lower noise floor which would be great if you only track with one pre.....which I will be.

My question is, are the pres in the DVC as quiet as the Great River after 10 or more tracks? Which do you think would hold the mix together better? I play pop-rock with lots of acoustic guitar.

Noise floor is probably not going to be a major concern on either unit. The self noise on either unit is likely going to be significantly lower than other parts of your chain (ie your room, unless you have very good isolation). Try auditioning both and see which you like the sound of better. I've only used the GR, so can't really comment on the differences.

yeah....I can't try both. That's why I posted here. I live in a third world country, France, where things like this aren't possible...

(well, as far as auditioning audio gear is concerned, it feels like a 3rd world country)

Channel: RODE NTK/Oktava mk012 -> Great River OR LDVC -> FMR RNC -> Swissonic AD24 mkII -> RME Multiface -> Hard drive

The Room: It's a pro studio (with no recording gear). There's a studio in the city that I live in which will rent the rooms only (no gear, no engineer)....for rehearsal or recording or whatever....for about 10 bucks an hour. The rooms are fantastic. Very good design

....so...back to my originally question about the pres. Does anyone have experience with both units? I'm mainly recording vocals, acoustic and electric guitar.
