Been fucking with this one for way too long now. It's gone through about 10 different arrangements and incarnations, but I guess I'm reasonably happy with it now. My songs usually come out pretty easily. This one was like pulling teeth. :mad:

Slightly suggestive lyrics - it's all about electricity isn't it :D. Cool tempo change in this. The story reminds me of an old tune called "Layin' Pipe". Cool wah action... Mix is pretty good for me. Nice follow up tune for your sophomore album!

All the work you put in it has really paid off, Greg ;)
this is one of your less punkiest tunes, except in the chorus of course (not that I have anything against punk.....). Great guitar solo, you rock! Artistically I can safely say this is my favourite tune from you, nice changing tempos, beautifully played and wonderfully mixed. Well fuckin' done, bro! :D

Wow, thanks a lot Joey. Glad you liked it, although I must say that this tune is pretty simple, it drained me and I'm chomping at the bit to get back to regular ol straight-forward even simpler and stupider Greg rock. :D

haha this made me laugh the whole way through. it's funny i had a grab the power line mentality just yesterday. worked out well :D

I hear the limiter working pretty hard through the choruses. It changes the tone of the song a bit. Other than that, solid rockin' tune, man.

I LOVE the wah work out.
Smutty thriple & single entendre lyrics are pure rnr - well RnR is a euphemism anyway so how could you go wrong.
I'll have to listen again to suss out Chilli's limiter comment.
On 1st 2 listens this tracks glistens with nitro.

Thanks a lot Chili. I'm not really hearing anything wongo in the choruses (I think they're the best part :p) but I'll go back and take a look. There's 5 layers of guitars in the chorus and one of them is wah'd out. Maybe that's what you're hearing? :confused:

The vocals seems to be getting masked, and my impression is that it's low-end heavy with the longer bass notes. Good balls out tune though, and great sounding solo

Thanks dude. I don't know about the vocals - they sound fine to me - but I think I agree about the bass now that I've heard it on a few different systems. I used some distortion on the bass, which I don't usually do, so I don't think I treated it right in the mix. thanks for the listen.
 
Only had a chance to listen on laptop speakers so far, but it sounds great on those, so that says a lot. Everything comes through really clear and especially the guitars sound great.

Are the drums real or programmed? It's hard to tell on the lapper...I'll listen later on monitors
