Hi guys, I'm new here, another member from Holland.
I've got a question. I'm doing a big schoolproject and for a part of that I have to write and record music for a quiz. This is a scene we are going to film, and I'm doing all the audio. The vibe needs to be the most cheasiest quiz ever, it's a mocking scene, in which we want to go overly-cliché. I've listened to the Wheel of Fortune soundtrack (the music you here on the wheel of fortune show in de states). Never seen it, but that's exactly like how it's going to have to feel. Really corny, been-there-done-that, flashy as can be. I can play guitar and bassguitar, and keys (with a little help from Cubase). I have tons of samples and I don't think instruments will be much of a problem. The only thing is, how am I going to think something up that very, very catchy, yet corny, yet not breaking the overall style of the product. I have this small 2 bar patern that keeps coming back in on the tracks on the soundtrack of the product (it's kindoff a game/movie, hard to explain).
Hmmm, now that I read back what I just wrote, I realize that you probably won't be able to answer my question because it's already pretty clear what I gotta do, just not how I'm gonna aprouch it.
