Sorry for the terrible blurry camera phone pic. I paid $1600 for it around three years ago

Jeez, that's an expensive camera phone...

okay if we're doing pictures, here's some of my stuff :D
Sweet amps... I'm not a 900 hater... I always liked em. I'd take one over a JCM2000.

thanks everyone! I can't wait till I pay the amp off so I can get 2000 dollars credit :) Haha now I can be a gear snob like all of you! lol jk.. how much did you guys pay for your tube amps and what kind do you have?

$300 for a used silverfaced push/pull master volume fender Twin in 1978.

$1250 for a used Rivera Quiana55w 2-12 January 06.

When I was in high school I had a Fender Super Showman. SS amp head with TWO powered 4-12 cabs. IIRC it was a 400 watt amp. I think I probably lost about half my hearing before I graduated.

Congrats Ericlingus!

I can't tell from the pic I found, what kind of speaker/tubes come in the F-50?

I got my used series 2 single recto for $925, so I guess you actually got a pretty good deal :o :D

Looks like 6l6's and a Black Shadow? speaker.

When I got my first tube amp (actually still my only one) I also had to get it used. I didn't even plan on buying an amp because my budget was almost non-existant, but I found a used Mesa Subway Rocket for $400 canadian and I couldn't pass up the deal. It's got a couple of scratches on it, but it's still solid and has the great Mesa sound.

Congrats, man. That amp sounds pretty sweet! Have fun with it!!

You have a cool thing going on with that 1 12" set up. For the price of one 12" speaker you can try out any speaker instead of having to load a 4x12 cab like a lot of us. I've been hearing some cool stuff about the Eminence Man-O-War and Govenors. I personally like the Weber approach to speakers and Weber builds the Scumbacks for another company.

This is where it all starts.........wanting to know how much and what kind, pretty soon you will be buying all sorts of gear just to one up on the next guy....and it won't stop there, now that you have a tube amp, you'll be looking into the most expensive tubes, the best strings, probably looking at replacing the speakers in your amp. Then, you'll replace the pickups, tuners, change or add to the springs on your tremelo......it never ends! Always something to buy or upgrade and brag about to your friends........................................WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
