Welll... I guess I could TRY to say something positive.
NT-3 on the kick? I have to question that choice. I'd put a 57 on the kick and mic the guitar with the NT-3... But thats just me.

For the recording to sound as good as it does, you guys must sound really good to begin with.

I think the recording quality and the mix were awesome...the song was a bit different from what I usually enjoy....but you nailed it...for a 5 minute mix that was pretty damn good...

Tomorrow we'll record the last part, then it's time for mixing... I think I know what I gotta do differently to get the best out of it..

Mesh, I blow no smoke up your booty when I say I really enjoyed that. It was like a show tune!
It had a gypsie/polka sound to it... (I admit I like polka, if it falls my way, but I don't usually search it out... it's like "trail-magic" I suppose... Same thing with Country, I like it but I don't search it out... I might search out some bluegrass... go figure).
Mesh, by the way, I listened to "Hit the Bottom" the remix version, dude that's heavy... I like.
I like to hear the differences in "rock" (i.e. "Hit the Bottom") from different countries/cultures... it's refreshing to hear a country's culture injected here and there throughout a rock tune.

Too cool, I love the solos in the middle of the song. My kids were doing this stupid dance to the tune when it began to play. It was classic.
