I am posting a call to those with good charisma, a real studio quality audio card & mic, and the desire to get your foot in the door of the voice acting world. Perhaps you have already done some and are simply looking to improve your reel.

I am producing an indie animated television series in the vein of shows such as Berserk, Monster, Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, and with other influences including the Thief videogames, and the film Sin City.

Last year I posted a similar call and found some great vocal talent here, which is still going to be used, I am very happy with it. LA caliber stuff. Because of changes to the way the story is introduced, an additional 10 minutes has been added to be aired first - meaning it will require more voices! You don't have to be a pro, but you need the desire to be ;)

This time, to help weed out some of the nonsense applications (please don't waste my time if you're just goofing around :) ) I will not post a script or ask you to link mp3's here. Apply to jobs [at] voxhouse [dot] net ONLY, with a generic demo in a high bitrate mp3 format, (nothing above 5 mb please) or link to an existing demo reel. Mention the HR bbs.

Additional notes: If you are creating a demo specifically for this, I need either male or female, both old and young voices required. I will not work with anyone under 18, and even that is stretching it unless you are very experienced. There is the possibility of future long term PAID parts, at present you should only apply if you are willing to do a few lines or possibly a longer term part for free (name on credits, publicity, and all that good stuff). Preferably willing to go over the lines together on MSN Messenger voice or Skype. This is not necessary if you nail it without help but can be a plus.

If you need an idea for a theme, think someone recounting an encounter with a scary animal (male or female), or alternatively (female only), being helped by a kind stranger when they were in trouble.

Thanks!

Henrik
