email Owens Corning, Roxul and Johns Manville or check on their website for local distributors. Call them and ask about insulation panels. I did this and one of them had Johns Manville Insulshield 2 inches thick 2x4 foot long. He wanted $2 per panel, I asked him how many he had and he said around 200 of them. I got with a buddy and he would go 50/50 with me so I offered them $1 per panel and I would buy all of them.
He agreed.. so now I got 100 of these things in my garage that im going to make panels out of. I will use around 36 to make 18 panels. I'm going 3 panels each for Bass Traps in the corners and 2 panels each to hang on the walls and ceiling. I got so many of these I will also be able to do my large garage door, The door going into the house and also probably do my living room
It's definitely worth it to go local if you dont have alot of money.
