im only really starting to build my rack as of now, and as i buy more things and more things i find myself getting more and more confused.
im more or less looking for a good comprehensive turorial about hooking up all these different sound modules and processors , compressors and what have you. the best methods for routing and aux send usage. you know , the proper place for everything, how to use a patchbay . any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jesus - Welcome to the board. It's good to see that Farview let you out of his trunk.

It's actually quite simple - "outs" go to "ins" and the other way around. You might be better served going to a studio or the local music store and getting a "visual" on this.

i was really more concerned with hookin up mutiple synth and or sound modules and using a patch bay to re route stuff. but thanks for teaching me how a mixer works. out to in, got cha!

There's also a decent book I found that goes into setup, operation, techniques, etc.

It's called "The Musician's Guide to Home Recording" A few little things here and there are a little dated, but by far, most of the info in the book is definitely helpful.
