I have been using Fruity Loops for quite some time, I am familiarized with it already... but I really wanna move to something more pro...
I started messing with reason and it looks pretty cool, maybe somehow better than fruity loops, at least it sounds better!
I was only concerned about homogenization... it would suck that I sounded similar to other people using Reason... but it was cool, pretty similar to rebirth, which I LOVED.
I make trance/drum and bass with no vocals so far... I don't record audio, only program samples and softsynths...
I've been told about Acid and Sonar, but I'm afraid that would be getting into too much trouble since I don't know that much about midi and I don't have midi gear to play it, I don't know if they come with step sequencers...
