good pro audio stores in NYC

anybody know if there are any places in NY that will let me demo high end microphones?

the only one i know if is the guitar center near union square. they have some neumans there, but i'm not sure if they'll let you demo them out. I've only been there once, i was wondering the same question though...

There's also Sam Ash..which has it's own recording/pro audio store in NYC and B&H Photo that stocks proaudio gear as well. I would try Sam Ash personally.
